Do you see a dream or reality?

This project explores the tension between dreams and reality within the common spaces of the home—Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Bedroom, and Bathroom—blending humor with the everyday challenges faced by a mother and her child. It creates a dialogue between the ordinary and the surreal, reflecting the complexities of daily life. Drawing from personal experiences, popular culture, and design history, I document both the real and imagined through 3D scanning, photography, and drawings. Manga and hyper-realistic models further enrich the narrative. By altering familiar characters and symbols, I invite the audience to reconsider assumptions about domestic life, challenging idealized notions and offering fresh perspectives on its complexities.
